WEST KELOWNA, B.C. – The West Kelowna Warriors (10-26-5-2) go to battle with the Cowichan Valley Capitals (29-2-4-1) Saturday evening.

Warriors vs. Capitals 2019/20 Regular Season Schedule:

Sunday, November 10th @ Cowichan Community Centre (2:00 PM) LOSS 6-2

Saturday, January 18th @ Royal LePage Place  (6:00 PM)

The Warriors are coming off a tough 7-3 loss at the hands of the Surrey Eagles Friday night. It was a game where the Eagles controlled play from the opening faceoff scoring a trio of goals in the first, then a pair of goals in both the second and third period. Nothing was going right for the Warriors from goaltending all the way up to the forward unit who was struggling to get quality scoring chances on Reece Klassen. It was clearly just one of those games the Warriors want to quickly forget about and move on.

Tonight it’s an even tougher test for the Warriors in the Cowichan Valley Capitals. The Capitals are coming off a 4-0 shutout over the Wenatchee Wild south of the border. The Warriors also haven’t forgotten about the last time they played the Capitals where they controlled play for the majority of the game skating off with a 6-2 victory. This game will also have former Warrior defender Austin Chorney suiting up against his former team for the first time. Chroney was acquired by the Capitals at the trade deadline in exchange for future considerations. The Warriors will need to flip the switch quickly if they want to bounce back this evening, and it all starts with a hot start out of the gate.

This evening’s game will be broadcast on both HockeyTV and the Warriors Mixlr Network. Puck drop at 6:00pm from Royal LePage Place in West Kelowna. For tickets to any upcoming home game visit tickets.westkelownawarriors.ca for details and packages.
