Friday, February 21st @  Kal Tire Place (7:00 PM)

Even though the Warriors lost another preseason game last week, it’s time to see a full lineup. Head Coach and General Manager Brandon West didn’t send out a lineup that consisted of veterans on the back end and forward group during the exhibition campaign, mainly due to injury concerns holding some players back. Tonight the Warriors are expected to play both Captain Jake Harrison and Austin Chorney who combined for only a pair of games played during the preseason.

With the boost of blue-liners Jake Harrison and Austin Chorney returning to the lineup the Warriors are also expected to utilize their new weapons up front including 8 new forwards. Most notable would be John Evans, who’s coming off a stellar season with the Delta Wild Academy registering almost a point a game.  As for the Vipers all eyes are on forward Connor Sleeth, who was acquired in the off-season in exchange for a trio of players. Sleeth alongside veterans Matt Kowalski and Connor Marritt are expected to the leaders of Vipers scoring his season. The Warriors will need to rely on sound defensive play in order to pick up a victory opening night.

Tonight’s game will be broadcast on both HockeyTV and the Warriors Mixlr Network. Puck drop at 7:00pm from Royal LePage Place in West Kelowna. For tickets visit tickets.westkelownawarriors.ca for details and packages.
