NEWS: ISAIAH NORLIN & ZACH REIM COMMIT TO THE WARRIORS

WEST KELOWNA B.C. – The West Kelowna Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club is pleased to announce the commitments of blue liners Isaiah Norlin & Zachary Reim(‘03) for the 2021-22 season. 

Isaiah Norlin

The Minneapolis, Minnesota native tallied 6 goals and 21 assists in 19 games played with Gentry Academy (USHS-MN). “We are very excited for Isaiah & Zach to officially join the Warriors family”, said Warriors GM & Head Coach Simon Ferguson. “Isaiah is a player skates well sees the ice well and defends well. He plays a simple game but has the ability to jump into the rush at the right time.”  Norlin finished 2nd in defensive scoring with Gentry Academy during the 2020-21 season. Isaiah is the younger brother of Warriors alumni Bennett Norlin who spent two seasons with the Warriors from 2017-2019. Bennett Norlin is entering his 3rd year with Air Force Academy(NCAA).

Zach Reim

The North Oaks, Minnesota native tallied 10 goals and 26 assists in 19 games played with Gentry Academy (USHS-MN) where he captained his team. “Zach is a good first pass defenseman who skates and defends well and has the ability to add some offence with a good shot.”, stated Warriors GM & Head Coach Simon Ferguson. Zach Reim finished 1st in defensive scoring with Gentry Academy and 5th in Minnesota High School defensive scoring during the 2020-21 season. Zach is the younger cousin of Warriors alumni Willie Reim who spent two seasons with the Warriors from 2017-2019. Willie Reim is entering his 3rd year with Air Force Academy(NCAA). 

 

The Warriors would like to welcome Isaiah, Zach and their families to the City of West Kelowna and the Warriors organization. The Warriors first preseason game goes this Friday when the Warriors host the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. Puck drop at 7:00pm from Royal LePage Place. Tickets for this game are general admission and only $10 each. All Warriors preseason games will be broadcast on HockeyTV and the Warriors Mixlr internet radio feed.
