NEWS: WARRIORS SAY FAREWELL TO MIKE SCHELL

WEST KELOWNA, B.C. – The West Kelowna Warriors Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club would like to thank Mike Schell for his contributions to the Warriors organization.

Schell, oversaw the marketing and gameday operations of the Warriors since August 28th, 2018. During this time, Mike was able to solidify great relationships with the community, businesses and the fan base. Schell also worked with the Warriors during the 2011-2012 season. 

“I would like to thank former owner Kim Dobranski and new owners John Murphy and Rod Hume for the great opportunity to be a part of bringing the community together through hockey,” stated Schell. “My time with the Warriors has been challenging but rewarding. I look forward to becoming a fan again supporting our hometown team for years to come.”

Schell has an extensive background in the music industry as a performer and a promoter. This month Mike accepted a position which includes travelling around North America promoting and performing at shows which run year round.

“Mike has been a true professional during his time with the Warriors,” stated Warriors President Chris Laurie. “ I’ve enjoyed working with him and we wish him the best in his new endeavor.”

The Warriors would like to thank Mike and his family for all the hard work they’ve put in over the past year and a half.
