WEST KELOWNA B.C. – The West Kelowna Warriors Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club is pleased to announce that Broadcaster Chase Johnston has been promoted to a full time role of Director of Communications & Business Development.
Johnston, is entering his 5th season as the “voice” of the Warriors spending the past 4 seasons running the Warriors social media, writing press releases, creating content and broadcasting all home and away games for the club. “I’m excited to start my new chapter with the Warriors organization”, stated Johnston. “I look forward to getting more involved in the community of West Kelowna”.
“Chase has worked incredibly hard for the Warriors organization over the past few years”, said Warriors President Chris Laurie. “His passion for the Warriors and the community of West Kelowna has been admirable. He is an invaluable member of our organization as we continue to strive to reach our goals. I am proud of Chase and look forward to his continued growth in his expanded role.”
Chase’s new roles will include adding to the Warriors corporate partnerships, season tickets and group ticket sales and lead team community programs such as the school visits during the season. Chase will continue his role of Broadcaster and Media Relations Director for the team.
