The West Kelowna Warriors Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club is excited to announce a partnership with 103.1 Beach Radio to become the official radio station of the team ahead of the 2018/19 season.
The new partnership sees Beach Radio help promote Warriors home games, keeping fans updated on promotions and attracting a new audience to experience hockey in West Kelowna over the course of the season. The Beach Radio Events Crew and cruiser will also be on hand on select game nights to add another element of entertainment to the Warriors game night experience.
“Having Beach Radio come on board is very exciting for both our club as well as our fans,” commented Warriors Owner and President Kim Dobranski, “It allows us to reach a broader audience and present our fans with information on some of the biggest nights of the season.”
The Warriors continue their exhibition schedule on Wednesday night as they take on the Penticton Vees at the South Okanagan Events Centre for a 7:00 PM puck drop before returning home on Friday night to host the Trail Smoke Eaters. Wednesday’s game can be heard on the Warriors Internet Network as well as viewed on HockeyTV.com.
Season tickets are now on sale for the upcoming 2018/19 season, which is set to begin Friday, September 7th before heading to Royal LePage Place to host the Trail Smoke Eaters in their home opener on Saturday, September 8th.
