WEST KELOWNA, B.C. – In their first home games since late January, the West Kelowna Warriors will return to Royal LePage Place on Family Day long weekend as they get set to host the Salmon Arm Silverbacks and Langley Rivermen.
Friday, February 16th sees the Warriors take on the Silverbacks in the final game of the two teams’ season series where West Kelowna has won four of the five meetings between the two sides. The game marks the first time the Warriors will be on home ice since January 27th, a span of 19 days between home games.
Following a contest on Saturday, February 18th in Penticton against the Vees, West Kelowna will make their way back to RLP and take on the Rivermen for a Family Day afternoon game on Monday, February 19th, presented by Pushor Mitchell.
Children 12 years of age or younger have free admission into the game with those tickets available through the Warriors website as well as in-person at a maximum of four free tickets per order. The Warriors will also be hosting a post-game skate as fans are encouraged to bring their skates and helmets and join the Warriors on the ice after the game.
Puck drop against the Silverbacks on the 16th will take place at 7:00 PM while the opening face-off on Monday afternoon goes at 2:30 PM. Tickets for each of the two games can be purchased on the Warriors website as well as in-person at the Warriors Office as well as at the Box Office, open one hour ahead of the game.
The Warriors (24-8-6-0) continue on a stretch of four games away from home as they head to the East Kootenays to take on the Cranbrook Bucks (16-23-2-0) on Friday night. Puck drop is slated for 6:00 PM PST from Western Financial Place with the game being broadcasted live on AM 1150 as well as streamed online on FloHockey.
