WEST KELOWNA, B.C. – The West Kelowna Warriors Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club have acquired veteran blue liner Ryan Novecosky from the Alberni Valley Bulldogs.
Novecosky, 19, comes to the Warriors after spending last season with the Alberni Valley Bulldogs. The Courtenay, B.C native would tally 10 points in 52 games played with the Bulldogs last season. “Ryan brings a veteran presence to our d-core” stated Warriors Head Coach and General Manager Brandon West. “A guy like Ryan is something we are currently looking for at this time”.
The Warriors would like to welcome Ryan and his family to the Warriors organization and the City of West Kelowna.
The Warriors next Exhibition game is on the road this Friday versus the Trail Smoke Eaters. Puck drop 7:00pm from Cominco Arena. This game will be streamed on Hockey TV and will be broadcast on the Warriors radio network on Mixlr.
