NEWS: WARRIORS ACQUIRE WYATT SCHLAHT FROM CHIEFS

WEST KELOWNA B.C. – The West Kelowna Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club have acquired 2000 born forward Wyatt Schlaht from the Chilliwack Chiefs(BCHL) in exchange for future considerations.

The Denver, Colorado native spent last season with the Surrey Eagles where he scored 10 goals and 13 assists. The 6’0, 183 pound forward was acquired by the Chilliwack Chiefs before the extended preseason started. During the extended preseason, Schlaht scored a pair of goals with the Chilliwack Chiefs. Wyatt Schlaht is committed to Brown University(NCAA) for the 2021-22 season. 

After acquiring Wyatt Schlaht, the Warriors have dealt forward Deegan Mofford to the Merritt Centennials(BCHL) in exchange for future considerations. Mofford, 19, pulled together a great season scoring 10 goals and 6 assists in 26 games played for the Warriors during the 2019-20 season.

The Warriors would like to welcome Wyatt and his family to the City of West Kelowna and the Warriors organization and want to wish Deegan Mofford all the best moving forward with the Merritt Centennials.
