WEST KELOWNA B.C – The West Kelowna Warriors are excited to announce a special “Party in the Plaza” this Saturday September 8th. The event will take place just hours before the Warriors season opener against the Trail Smoke Eaters.
British Columbia Hockey League clubs will be honoring the SJHL’s Humboldt Broncos in unique ways to start the season, starting with a large banner that will be raised in every rink across the province. The West Kelowna Warriors welcome the fans to come and sign their own special Humbolt banner before and during the game. The banner will then be sent back to the SJHL club. The Warriors will also be wearing special “Humboldt themed” jerseys during the home opener at Royal LePage Place.
The Party in the Plaza will include a BBQ provided by Nor-Val Rentals, FREE hot chocolate and Timbits courtesy of Tim Horton’s, merchandise sales from Ultimate Hockey Centre, 103.1 Beach Radio’s street team will be present with giveaways, and live entertainment on the main stage from one of Okanagan’s best The Timbre Wolves.
The event will kick off at 4:00pm in front of Royal LePage and conclude at 6:45 with the puck drop inside at 7:00pm.
Season tickets are now on sale for the upcoming 2018/19 season, which is set to begin tonight before heading to Royal LePage Place to host the Trail Smoke Eaters in their home opener on Saturday, September 8th. Head to the Warriors newly renovated office to check in on ticket details.
