Michael Salandra scored twice while Sean Keohane and Simon Houge tallied their first BCHL goals in the game. Cal Hughes added a single in the win while Rorke Applebee made 22 saves on 25 shots in his 17th win of the season.
The Bulldogs come into action after pulling out a 4-3 win over the Cowichan Valley Capitals on Wednesday night at the Cowichan Community Centre. Nicholas Beneteau, Hayden Stavroff, Philippe Lalonde and Fischer O’Brien each found the back of the net in the win while Callum Tung made 37 saves on 40 shots in his 15th victory of the season between the pipes.

Hughes kept his point streak alive with his 17th goal of the season on Friday night in Nanaimo and has scored a point in nine of his last ten contests. The BU commit has earned three goals and five assists for eight points over his last four games and has tallied a goal in three of those four games.

Points in each of his last five games have Wilson riding a strong scoring stretch heading into tonight’s game against the Bulldogs, a team he has success against. The Robert Morris commit has registered four goals and two assists for six points over his six-game point streak while the Surrey, BC native had a hand in winning Game #2 of the Coastal Conference Final last season against Alberni Valley, scoring twice in the game include the double overtime winner to help his former team in the Surrey Eagles to a win.
