WEST KELOWNA, B.C. –  The West Kelowna Warriors host the Silverbacks in Game #4 of the BCHL’s Interior Conference Semi Finals Wednesday evening.

The Warriors extended their best of seven series lead to 3-0 after a stellar 4-1 victory at home Monday night. The Warriors allowed the first goal of the game only a minute in but managed to come back after Captain Elan Bar Lev Wise tied the game up. Then Riley Sharun would score his first career BCHL Playoff goal which would eventually be the game winner. The Silverbacks would leave Royal LePage Place with a bigger loss. One of the league’s top scorers Simon Tassy would exit the game with a lower body injury and needed help leaving the arena drawing speculation that his season may be over.

West Kelowna – F John Evans (14 points), F Tyler Cristall (14 points), D Charles-Alexis Legault (10 points), F Marcus Joughin (11 points) G Johnny Derrick (.934 SV%)

Wednesday night the look to close out the series and punch their ticket to the Interior Conference Finals. The Silverbacks arguably played their best game of the series Monday night with goaltender Owen Say stopping 37 of 40 shots. The Silverbacks also brought a little more energy to the table in the first period compared to the Warriors but the Warriors later figure things out in the later half by capitalizing on their scoring chances and taking advantage of Simon Tassy being out of the lineup. Tassy’s replacement on that top line will be forward Zach Smith. Smith has proven to be a dynamic forward for the Silverbacks this round and already demonstrated that he has some chemistry with his new linemates Noah Serdachny and Brandon Santa Juana. The Warriors need to make sure that trio is kept in check if they want to advance to the third round.

This game broadcast will be available on the Shaw Spotlight Channel, BCHLTV(formally HockeyTV) and the Warriors Mixlr Radio Network. Puck drop at 7:00pm from Royal LePage Place in West Kelowna. Tickets available for Game #4 at Westkelownawarriors.ca. We would like to ask fans to order your tickets online as the box office is expected to have a long lineup before each game.
