Warriors Trade for Quinn Gould

WARRIORS TRADE FOR QUINN GOULD

 

Westside, BC ? General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Howell, announced that the Westside Warriors have acquired 18 year old forward, Quinn Gould, from the Sherwood Park Crusaders of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.  Gould was acquired for the rights to Colby Kulhanek, who played for the franchise 3 seasons ago, when the team was located in Langley.

 

?Bringing in Quinn is a key acquisition for our hockey team.  He brings size and skill to our line-up, and has good speed.  He has proven in the past he can score big goals, and will be counted on to help generate more offence for our team.?  Stated Howell

 

Last season Quinn led the very competitive Alberta Midget Hockey League in goal scoring with 33 goals. He also led his team, the Fort Saskatchewan Rangers to the North Division Final, while leading all play-off goal scorers with 12.  This season he had 3 goals and 8 assists in 28 games in the AJHL.  Quinn hails from Fort McMurray, Alberta and stands 6?2? and weighs 185 lbs.

 

Quinn will be arriving in the Westside on Tuesday in time for practice.
