Warriors Defensemen Named to All-star Team

Two members of the Westside Warriors have been named to the B.C. Hockey League?s Interior Conference all star team.

Justin Schultz, 18, and Cory Pritz, 20, were both selected to represent the BCHL Interior Conference in the all star game which will take place Jan. 14 in Vernon.

?It?s a huge accomplishment to be an all star in this league,? said Warriors coach/GM Mark Howell. ?There are a lot of really good players in this league. To have two really top end defencemen in the all star game is a good accomplishment to our organization. Were definitely excited for Justin and Cory.?

Schultz, a Westside native, was drafted in the second round of the NHL Entry draft last season by the Anaheim Ducks. He will attend NCAA division 1 school Wisconsin on a scholarship next season.

Pritz, a Red Deer, Alberta native, has secured a NCAA Division 1 scholarship to Northern Michigan next season.
