WEST KELOWNA, B.C. – The West Kelowna Warriors, in conjunction with the British Columbia Hockey League, are pleased to announce the schedule for the 2017 Bauer BCHL Showcase, running from Wednesday, September 20th to Sunday, September 24th in Chilliwack, B.C. at the Prospera Centre.
The Warriors are set to face-off against the Mainland Division’s Coquitlam Express and the Island Division’s Cowichan Valley Capitals in the 5th annual running of the Bauer BCHL Showcase at Prospera Centre. West Kelowna opens up their showcase schedule with a matchup against the Express, taking place at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 20th before finishing their two-game Showcase schedule with an evening game against the Caps at 4:00 PM. All Showcase games are on the regular ice sheet at Prospera Centre.
The Warriors have had plenty of success at the Bauer BCHL Showcase, heading into the 2017 version of the event with an 8-2 record in 10 previous Showcase games, including victories in their last six games in a row at the Showcase. The Warriors and Express play each other for the second consecutive year at the Showcase while the Warriors and Capitals match-up against one and other for the second time at the Showcase as well. West Kelowna went a combined 4-1 against the two teams in the 2016/17 regular season.
