WEST KELOWNA, B.C. – The British Columbia Hockey League, in conjunction with the West Kelowna Warriors, announced the schedule for the 2017/18 regular season on Wednesday afternoon.
The regular season schedule begins on Friday, September 8th, 2017 and continues through to February 24th, 2018. The start of the regular season schedule is similar to 2016/17 as the Warriors begin with a home-and-home series against the Trail Smoke Eaters. West Kelowna will travel to Trail on September 8th before the first of twenty-eight games at Royal LePage Place will be played on Saturday, September 9th against the Smokies at the Warriors home opener.
The Warriors will take on the defending BCHL champion Penticton Vees on September 29th at the South Okanagan Events Centre for their first meeting of the regular season. West Kelowna plays the Powell River Kings on December 17th before the team’s head home for their Christmas break, which runs from December 18th through to the 27th and return with a home-and-home against the Smoke Eaters.
West Kelowna’s two Island Division trips will take place later on in the season as they take on the Victoria Grizzlies, Nanaimo Clippers and Alberni Valley Bulldogs in January while playing the Cowichan Valley Capitals, Powell River Kings and Chilliwack Chiefs in February to complete their Island Division swings.

FIRST GAME OF 2018: Friday, January 5th @ Victoria Grizzlies
FINAL HOME GAME OF 2017/18 REGULAR SEASON: Tuesday, February 21st vs. Wenatchee Wild
FINAL GAME OF 2017/18 SEASON: Saturday, February 24th @ Salmon Arm Silverbacks
The Warriors and their players will gather at Royal LePage Place on Monday, August 21st for the start of Main Camp before six preseason games beginning on Wednesday, August 23rd against the Penticton Vees at RLP.
