The West Kelowna Warriors are proud to announce the 6th annual Pastor Don’s Christmas Hamper Drive sponsored by the Real Canadian Superstore.
The event is being run by Warriors chaplain pastor Don Richmond, who says that 60 hampers will be put together for needy families in the West Kelowna community.
“We work through the West Kelowna elementary school principals,” said the Warriors chaplain, “who help us distribute to the families that they choose.”
Cash donations will be collecting at Friday night’s game when the Warriors host the Merritt Centennials for the second time this season. The goal for Don to reach through the hamper drive is $2,300 so make sure to get your tickets for Friday night and come support a great cause and help raise some money for families in need in the West Kelowna community.
