WEST KELOWNA, B.C. – The British Columbia Hockey League announced the 2018/19 regular season schedule on Friday, which begins Friday, September 7th and will conclude on Sunday, February 24th.
The Warriors will begin their season in the same way that it has started over the past three seasons, with a home-and-home against the Trail Smoke Eaters. West Kelowna will travel to Trail to open the season on Friday, September 7th before hosting the Smoke Eaters on Saturday, September 8th in their home opener.
West Kelowna will face off against the defending BCHL champion Wenatchee Wild on Saturday, September 15th before the two teams conclude their season series with a pair of games in Wenatchee on the 23rd and 24th of November.
Other notable dates on the Warriors schedule are the two Island trips, which will take place in late November and early February. West Kelowna will play Nanaimo, Cowichan Valley and Victoria from November 30th to December 2nd before heading to Chilliwack, Powell River and Alberni Valley from February 8th to 10th.
The Warriors have four three-game home stands this season which includes one late in the season before closing the regular season schedule in a similar way to how it began with a home-and-home with the Smokies on February 22nd and 23rd. The final regular season game at Royal LePage Place will be Friday, February 22nd before West Kelowna closes their season out in Trail on Saturday, February 23rd.
