The West Kelowna Warriors came to West Kelowna in the 2006 off-season after residing in Langley as the Langley Hornets. A new arena was built to house the Warriors, known as Royal LePage Place, and has become the battlefield for all Warriors home games.
The West Kelowna Warriors are owned and operated by Mark Cheyne. Mark was involved with the original ownership group (Vision Sports Group) when he and his family moved to West Kelowna. During the 2009/2010 season, Mark decided to assume full ownership of the team and take on the day to day activities of a very busy hockey team.
The Warriors employ a full time office staff and, as well, have access to some of the best medical people in the sports industry, an exceptional physiotherapy clinic and fitness center.
The Central Okanagan has a proud junior hockey tradition and the Warriors are very proud to be a part of that tradition and representing the West Kelowna community.
