This year’s version of the Tim Hortons Warriors Alumni Weekend from May 28th – 29th, 2016 has all of the ingredients to make it the best yet! Our expanded partnership with Tim Hortons, along with other new sponsors, will enable us to give back to the community even more.
The weekend starts Saturday May 28th at 3:00pm Royal LePage Place will host the 4th Annual Charity Hockey Game. The Warriors Alumni will take on the West Kelowna Firefighters for the Tim Hortons Cup. Fans will be invited to bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation to help stock the shelves of the West Kelowna Community Food Bank. Post-game will feature a special signing event with Tim Hortons snacks in the lobby of Royal LePage Place.
The 4th Annual Tim Hortons Warriors Alumni Charity Golf Tournament will be held privately at Shannon Lake Golf Course Sunday May 29th 1:30pm Shot Gun Start. The course features a brand new club house and will provide golfers with new challenges. Attendees include current NHLers Justin Schultz and Colton Sissons, along with numerous other Warrior’s stars. Alumni golfers will be teamed up with sponsors and public golfers. Be sure to reserve your spot ASAP as space is limited. Proceeds support West Kelowna Minor Hockey (Kid Sport) and Tim Horton’s Camp Day (Tim Horton’s Children’s Foundation).
